Low ceilings, thick stone walls and rooms with limited natural light are all familiar here.

Colour and lighting can turn a darker room around. In a pool changing room we designed, deep slate blues and warm greens, paired with layered lighting and an illuminated mirror, make a room with little natural light feel warm rather than dim. That room also uses a Schluter wet room system, which handles moisture effortlessly in a high-traffic space.
