Sophisticated Bathroom Design in a Compact Space
Designing a bathroom within a narrow townhouse called for clever thinking, maximising every inch while creating a space that feels sophisticated, considered, and full of character.
At Artis Bathrooms, we believe great design is never dictated by the size of a room. Through clever spatial planning, considered material choices, and precise detailing, this project proves how understated luxury can be achieved even in a compact footprint.

Creating Depth and Visual Space
To overcome the physical limits of a narrow room, the design focuses on continuous visual flow and strategic tone. A wall-to-wall shower enclosure immediately opens up the footprint, while extending the same tiles seamlessly across both the floor and walls softens structural boundaries for an expansive feel.
On the far wall, deeper tones introduce rich drama and draw the eye inward, adding depth without making the compact space feel dark or enclosed.

Architectural Details & Contemporary Touches
Every detail in this bathroom was engineered to maintain a clean, pared-back aesthetic.
A wall-to-wall infinity niche featuring soft integrated lighting serves as both a striking architectural focal point and a practical storage layer. To keep transitions crisp and eliminate the need for tile trims, all tile edges were mitred with precision.
Completing the scheme, brushed gunmetal brassware delivers a refined, modern edge that complements the tonal palette without overpowering the space.
